Hawaii Votes to Go 100% Renewable

Hawaii is moving to become the first U.S. state to employ 100% renewable electricity. House Bill 623, approved by the state legislature yesterday, puts in place a requirement for all the islands’ electricity to come from renewable sources by the end of 2045.
