Sunetric announces the appointment of Aaron Kirk, Sunetric’s chief operating officer, to the 2013 board of Hawaii’s Better Business Bureau (BBB), a nonprofit organization advancing marketplace trust between buyers and sellers. For over 100 years, the BBB has connected consumers to trustworthy businesses by setting high business practice standards and facilitating business reviews.
Alongside fellow board members from various sectors of Hawaii’s diverse business community, Kirk will promote ethical business behavior that builds consumer confidence in businesses, such as honest advertising, clear representation of products and services, and prompt resolution of consumer complaints.
“The BBB’s mission and vision of an ethical marketplace based on trust aligns perfectly with Sunetric’s values,” said Aaron Kirk, chief operating officer of Sunetric. “I’m honored to serve on a board that encourages businesses to exceed customer expectations by implementing sound business practices.”
BBB business reviews include businesses’ accreditation standings and grades, which help consumers make informed purchasing decisions. Rated “A” and accredited by the BBB, Sunetric is recognized as a leading solar firm for providing excellent quality and customer service during every step of the solar installation process.
Since 2012, Kirk has overseen Sunetric’s day-to-day operations for residential and commercial clients as chief operating officer. With nearly 20 years of managerial experience, Kirk initially joined Sunetric as director of sales in 2011. Prior to Sunetric, he served as vice president of sales and operations for Oceanic Values and the vice president of operations at Toreador, LLC. Kirk holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management. He is also a certified trainer for ISO 9002 Quality Systems Implementation and a “train-the-trainer” facilitator for Stephen Covey’s “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.”
